The tube in shell or tube in tube heat exchanger is specifically designed for sludge which contains fibres and particles.The equipment consists of tubes mounted inside an outer larger tube or pipe,the insid tubes can be a single or multi tubes,all outer tubes or pipes will be connected with each other by U tubes.In this kind of heat exchanger,one design is the product will go through the inside of tubes,another design is the product will pass through the gaps between inner tubes and outer shell.the both flow methoth can get a high flow rate.

By this kind of heat exchanger,it can hold much more higher pressure,easy to clean and maintain,but the cost will be little higher than plate heat exchanger.
